Henley Folk Club is on a Friday this month!

Which means most people can stay in bed the next morning! Apparently most of the noisy after-work crowd go home around 8 o'clock so the latter part of the evening should be reasonably quiet. Roger decided Friday was worth a try as it won't clash with Marlow Bottom, Bracknell, Wallingford or Maidenhead and there should be no football in the other bar. So if you've nothing to do on that Friday, why not come along.

Cant it be dodgy to be out and about and available on the Odd Day in a Leap Year ? Or is that a good excuse for a theme ??

The evening of 29th Feb promises to be an excellent evening!

Several singers and musicains have said they are attending.

Also, there are likely to be 3 excellent unaccompanied singers, namely Dick Frost, Hilary Ward and Alison Fenner.

So there should be a wonderful mixture of song & tune! And all in a friendly pub with good beer and a landlord who usually produces some food for us all.

I presume 4 years in the last post is an error (or is it in the wrong thread?) and should have said 4 weeks?? It will be the 4th Friday in March next time - the 28th.
