I see that Barry is giving it up, except for Canadian folk music. It was Barry that led me here to Mudcat and since I cannot contact him directly I hope Joe and Rick will allow me to thank him through here. Thank's Barry, you restored part of my life. You have given me an extensive library of my favorite songs with cool midi's, God Bless. Tucker.....PS, Everyone at Mudcat is #1 with me too. It's like having a child, everyone is favorite, in it's own way, but you never tell them that.

I don't think Barry would mind if I pass on the information that he is moving to a cable connection (lucky devil) which limits the amount of both space and bandwidth he can use. Given the restrictions he couldn't maintain the traffic his site generates. He should be back as a live presence in a short while though he will only be working on Canadian midis when he's back up.

Barry was the one that got me into midi as well and is responsible for expanding the horizons of my knowledge in folk music as well as midi - so I'm very glad to give his pages a home - even if they won't be updated.

The pointer from the old site won't be up much longer, so for those of you who haven't been there the new address for Barry's pages is:

here.

Thanks Lesley. Please see Mary of Argyle thread which I am about to post.

PS Whenever I try to visit your site these days all I get is your wallpaper. Is there something else I need to do? I've been visiting you for a couple of years with no real problems.

Regards
John

I changed servers because I needed the extra space for Barry's site. Internic was having trouble with the change but I thought it was all figured out...

Would I be surprised if it really wasn't? (Some questions are so stupid they don't require an answer!)

Is it still happening? Thanks for letting me know!!
