I'm going to Hull for a few weeks after Spring Bank Holiday, and get the impression from Mudcat that there's good music there, just wondered where any weekday folk clubs / singing / music sessions might be?

Cheers,

Joy

There's a tune session in the Black Boy in High Street on the first Monday of the month, in addition to sessions (both singing and tune) in Beverley during the week.

There are a great many 'open mike' sessions around, if that's your thing.

I wouldn't go that much on jOhn's recommendation. Sure Tesco is big, but it's culturally naive.

Thanks to everybody, looks as if I'll get my fix of chorus singing and maybe see some of you in Tescos.

Never been to an 'open mike' session yet, would I find them by looking in the local paper?
