Hi all, Can anyone give me a nod in the right direction here.
I have a Boss RC 2 loop pedal that has an input for guitar and a line level input, for mp3 players etc.
What i want to know is could i use a mic preamp or a mixer to give me a line level for a mic?
Hope someone can help.
Many thanks, Colin

Yes.
Cheapest way of buying a serviceable mic preamp is one of those tiny Behringer mixers (Xenyx 502 or 1002). Feed the output of that into the line input or your pedal.

Before you do that, try the mic direct into the guitar input. It may work, or the signal may be too small and the result will be too quiet or (if you turn up the volume downstream) noisy.

also available are dedicated pre-amps. ART and M-Audio have models under 100 bucks. check your music store. a mixer might be more versatile (EQ), the other option will be simpler to use.
