Would somebody be so kind enough to tell me where the resting place of the great Seamus Ennis is? I suspect it is close to his beloved Naul. Thank You.

Martin,
It would seem that your guess as to the location of Seamus Ennis' grave is accurate, according to this posting which I copied and pasted from the Finglas Historical Society's website :

"Our trip to the Naul to visit the Seamus Ennis Centre was a great success. After a short bus trip we arrived at about three o'clock to be greeted by Sean, the manager of the centre.
After a lovely meal, we were treated to a seisiun of traditional Irish music. We also visited the graveyard and photographs were taken of Seamus's grave. We were made feel very welcome and we intend to make a return trip again - possibly in the summer."

Thanks very much Gweltas1 for that. I will make a point of visiting both it and the Seamus Ennis Centre during my holidays. I visited the resting place of his friend and another giant of Irish music Joe Heaney a couple of years ago and it is one of the most breathtaking areas you could wish to visit. It's by the sea and so quiet except for the sound of the ocean. If any Folkies are travelling to Ireland please take a few hours out and visit it . It Is In Mairos, Carna , Co. Galway. Thank again Gweltas1.
