I was listening to Prairie Home Companion and The Boys of the Lough were guests of the show. They sang a song with the chorus of, "Lay down low my love" I think.

I'd like to get the words, music and guitar chords if possible.

The song is titled 'The Willow Tree' and was composed by Padraic Ni Uallachain. If you live in America you can listen or download a recording at #105 from this page: Click. It is on Boys of the Lough 'Twenty' Lough Records lough 009CD. A fine album - why don't you do them a favour and purchase it.

Hmmm. This must be the second time The Boys of the Lough performed WILLOW TREE on "A Prairie Home Companion."

I posted the lyrics here based on an earlier performance.
