Hi Kerry & Mandy, here's your previous thread. It's easy to keep track of the threads you're interested in by clicking the blue 'trace' next to the thread title when you're logged in. Each one you click goes into a list in your Personal page. It's usually better to have only one thread running on the same subject as other Catters use this system to keep track of what's going on. Hope this helps!

Perhaps a friendly MudElf might combine the two?

It's "small" festivals like this that make me regret living so far away. no big names, but one very fine looking weekend, with proceeds going to a couple of very worthy causes.

All the luck in the world to you Kerry & Mandy..and I hope it's amazing weather on that weekend.

thanks Charlotte, shame you can make it.
if it rains there's a 40 foot by 80 foot marquee for shelter, the great british weather cant be relied on, unfortunately.

take care

hi guys
seeing the thread about trade stands at festivals, we thought we would put a request on here.

we are looking for 3 trade stands and a vegitarian food stand(possably pasta or noodles), to compliment our festival.
pitches would be 3X4 metres, clothing stalls, music related stalls and craft stalls is the sort of thing weare looking for.
there is no charge but a donation to the charities would be nice.
if your interested PM us pr get in touch through the web site.(its on the first post at the top of the page).
this is the second year of the festival and we are developing it year on year.
thanks guys
kerry and mandy

THE STAR INN
ST MARY'S IN THE MARSH
ROMNEY MARSH
AUGUST 15TH 16TH 17TH

so that's the sourf coast innit?

It is indeed. Many appologies for not mentioning before that we are in the deepest, darkest wilds of the Kent marshes. It's actually very pretty out here, if the weathers good! There is a map on the web site for the precise location.

I'm looking forward to it, with a good variety of acts performing on the main stage, together with lots of acoustic sessions and, sing arounds in the pub, who could ask for more?
Plus it's all set in a beautiful rural location with a proper pub that offers a fine selection of beers, and wines.

I hope to see lots of you there, do come and say hello

Stuart Pendrill

I understand that Ruff and Reddy are on the stage from one o clock, if this is so, and you suffer from any heart related illnesses, arrive at two

Myself and Clive Lever will be there in the Star Inn from noon till 1pm, so it's a sort of mix of Clive, Wysiwyg, and "Sic Transit".

We'll prepare you for "Ruff 'n Reddy".

Looking forward to this one as I'm on the stage performing, then in the pub with the session and maybe even MC on sunday. I'd better change the strings on my guitar as they were changed for Sidmouth, and now they're shot away after all that playing.

Had a really great time. Well done Kerry and Mandy, and to the landlords who made us so welcome. Even the weather smiled on us so that it only rained during the night. As everybody has already said this is a truly great little weekend festival in a lovely setting, and I for one hope to be invited back.
