Anybody got any information concening Artists who are appearing and a schedule.

My family & I will be in Bruges from 30th July to 9th August 2008.

I have searched on google but no details.

Maybe some Mudcatter in Bruges might have some info.

Yes I did Dave, thats the problem.
I hope it is going to happen. It will be nice to be in Brugge whilst its on. We booked our holiday on that basis.

I managed to find an e-mail address Dave, of one of the organisers who said

"Yes the festival is still on between 25 July - 9 August.
For the moment we're still working on the program.
More news to follow in a few weeks"

Any of you Mudcatters appearing at it?

Here's the website for Klinkers. It just hasn't got any information for this year on it yet but last year's programme is still up giving you some idea of what to expect. A strong emphasis on Latin American bands and lots of bals.

I did manage to get on the site in the end, but as you say no info.
however that guy I e-mailed will let me know when they have got the details.
I want to be able to research who is on, so that I can find some music that hopefully my family will want to see.

Of course - the fact it seems mainly free helps too!!

I have been to similar things in Spain and whilst the music has rarely been to my taste, the atmosphere always has been.

And on the few occasions I have been to Belgium - it has always been "A good time was had by all".

I got extremely happy on an EC funded trip to Belgium trying to drink the beer lake. I mention that so as you realise not all your Eurotaxes are wasted.
