Sorry your not going to be with us george. Looking forward to seeing all mudcatters who are coming including Bubblyrat & Wild Flying Dove.

PS The full programme is now on the festival website www.banburyfolkfestival.co.uk which includes a map showing how to get to the Drayton Leisure Golf Centre. Also we have had a request to see if people camping can stay over Sunday night. We do not have the answer to this but hopefully will find out today.

How can a child go through the systems nameless? Registras, School, Healthcare, just can't cope - let alone the potential for mix-ups.

Apendechtomy for "Still Nameless Smith"? Now still keep Still.
Les Barker would have a field day - or has he already?

I've just discovered I've probably been cookieless for a while! That nameless guest was me. (Rather like my grand-daughter who, at 11 days old, is still nameless!)

Thanks for info Kitty!

Here's the main Banbury Festival website!. Info about the Song & Ale is partway down the front page & the booking form can be accessed from there.

While you're there, have a look at the Artists booked so far for the main Festival in October, this is looking really good *grin*

Hi all you mudcatters!
Just to let you know that Banbury Folk Festival is holding a Song and Ale weekend as a festival fundraiser on 4th - 6th April 2008. The weekend will be held at Drayton Leisure Golf Centre, Warwick Road,Banbury OX17 1HJ and will cost £15 including camping. (Tents, caravans or motorhomes- Sorry no indoor camping) £10 of this goes to the Festival and £5 per head for hire of the venue.
Friday and Sunday only tickets are £5 with Saturday all day and Evening ticket at £10
Everything will happen on site. The club is putting on a real ale bar and we are arranging for a local caterer to provide breakfast and evening meals (including vegetarian option if required) with rolls and cakes available during the day. There will be song/music sessions throughout the weekend plus we are inviting some surprise guests as well.

A booking form is available on Banbury Folk Festival website.
www.banburyfolkfestival.co.uk

Tickets are limited to 60 people so book now to be sure of getting in.

Hope you can join us!
Cheers Merek'n'Dary
