Does anyone have the Irish translation of the song 'Black is the Colour'?

I know the first line is Is é dath an dubh...but I'm lost after that

Any help is greatly appreciated

Here is a translation I got for anyone that may be interested. There wil be some grammar mistakes but this is a general one that I got.

'Se dubh an dath


Reamhrá: Se dubh an dath, de gruaig mo ghrá
Tá bheolaí cosúil le blathanna aille
Tá mean gáire deasa agus lamhaí bóg aici
Is táim i ngrá leis an áit a sheasann sí

Táim i ngrá le mo ghrá is tá a fios aici
a chusla mo stór mo ghrá gheal
Táim ag súil leis an la a mbeadh seans aici
bheith le cheile gan éinne linn

Reamhrá arís

Níl aon am agam, tá mé ag dul leag
Saisúil ní bheadh mé go brach

It was claimed that the song was introduced into Ireland in the 1950s by Jean Richie when she was helping make all those wonderful field recordings, so presumably any translation would have to come after that.

The Irish is rather stilted and literal - I'd say the translation is very recent. Not really singable?

Very recent but perfect for a singers circle for children which is what I was looking for. A song they are familiar with both in lyrics and air and getting them started with "easier" songs like this in Irish
