I am so lucky to count you as my friends and to look forward to visiting with you and even growing My day started out lovely and has just progressed to lovelier. Rog rubbed my shoulders before he got up, without being asked, before coffee even! My kids all called, my siblings, too, even bet!**bg** Morgan's classmates all told me Happy Birthday when I picked him up. How neat is that...a classroom of 3-5 yr olds all saying Happy Birfday to you at once? It was darling. After lunch, he and I went to have a special piece of chocolate at Enstrom's, then to a garden center where he had to walk up and down every aisle, looking at all of the flowers to decide which one he would buy for me. He picked up a packet of every kind of pansy they had, then set each one down until he finally settled on one with a yellow flower, purple flower, and orange flower. Then he marched up to the counter, pulled out his Spiderman wallet and handed the clerk all of his money ($4) when it was only $2.50, so he was pretty happy to get some back. It was so sweet. I love that boy, in case ya hadn't noticed. Oh, and Mick? There was no way I was going to keep up with him, more years, grey hairs or not. And, that doesn't mean I am admitting to either!**bg** More phone calls and supper out tomorrow night. I had no expectations for this day. It just unfolded and I followed along and it has been very lovely. Thanks to you all. I am gratefull to be here and to know you all. Love, Kat |
