London is a bloody big place , and there are sessions in different bits of it just about every night of the week ! If you were staying in Walthamstow , a session in Harrow wouldnt be a of of interest unless you really WANTED to travel for a couple of hours !"!

Thanks for the reponses. I know London is big, and my visit may preclude me from visiting any club or session, but i cannot attend if i do not know hwen and where.

I would like to make Islington but my arrival time in heathrow will probably mean that i cannot get there.

Orpington is a bit far out.

If you are interested in Maidenhead , its at The Seven Stars , Knowl Hill , on the A4 west from Heathrow ! Starts at Eight Thirty .

If youre flying to Stansted - Stortfolk host Phil Hare on 10th April and theres a decent Friday session at Whittlesford on 11th (quick by train!)

I will be staying in Hayes , Middlesex. ETA 8.30pm so it might be difficult to get anywhere in time. Friday is much more likely.

The reason for my visit is personal and urgent. I may have to bring forward my visit so this may not work out. But thanks to everybody for the help. and I will join mudcat. I was a member one time but something went wrong and I never tried to fix it.

Just down the road from Hayes, Irish session in the Prince Albert, Hounslow Rd, Whitton. 9pm till late every Thursday. Might fit the bill.
The Adam and Eve in Hayes sometimes has Irish/country music on a Friday night but it will be for listening rather than joining in if they do.
