Subject: Stolen instruments website From: BB Date: 13 Apr 08 - 05:31 AM In previous discussions about stolen instruments, I know that there was mention of a website where such instruments could be listed, but I now can't find the details. Does anyone have them? A friend has been burgled and has had three guitars stolen, amongst other things. TIA Barbara |

Subject: RE: Stolen instruments website From: My guru always said Date: 13 Apr 08 - 06:04 AM Found this Stolen gear website, but it seems to be a USA site. Thought I'd pop the link on this thread as it may be useful for Catters across the pond. Hope the UK one comes back up soon as a lot of musicians have found it useful. |

Subject: RE: Stolen instruments website From: Escapee Date: 13 Apr 08 - 03:47 PM Might it be useful to establish a permathread or something like it here? I would want all the help I could get if I lost my guitar and I'm sure everyone here would be helpful. The more people who know about a stolen instrument, the more likely it is to be spotted. SKP |
