If your offer still holds, I'd love to take you up on it. E-mailed you backchannel---is there a different address you prefer to use now? Peace & song, Sandy |
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Morning (Bordersong) From: GUEST,Michael Castaneda Date: 10 May 08 - 02:17 AM Um...I'm the author/composer. :-) Actually, Bordersong was a group out of Seattle. Everyone thinks we were from Canada because we had our record pressed there. Mark Elder and I were Bordersong, and we performed and recorded with various excellent sidemen. I'll be glad to send you the lyrics. Email me at rhythm_ace1@mac.com Michael |
Subject: RE: Lyrics to 'Morning,' by Bordersong From: Peace Date: 19 Apr 08 - 01:26 PM The song was also released as a B side in 1976. Who is the author? |

Subject: Lyrics to 'Morning,' by Bordersong From: GUEST,Sandy Andina Date: 17 Apr 08 - 05:21 AM There's a song Stephen Lee Rich and I would love to do called "Morning," by a band out of Vancouver, BC (recorded in 1975 in Seattle) called Bordersong (helmed by brothers Mike and Chris Castaneda, backing vox by none other than Ann & Nancy WIlson). I found my copy of the LP, but my stereo is down. Anyone happen to know the lyrics? (Already have the chords, for guitar and mt. dulcimer). The next hurdle after we learn it is to track down the Harry Fox licensing info...if indeed it does exist. It's too good a song to pass into oblivion. |
