Hi

I plan to get down to Upton some time next Saturday; does anybody know anything about venues/times for the Folk Club or sessions there? Who do I need to speak to to get a spot at the Folk Club? I just checked the website but it's pretty thin on info for anything participatory.

Thanks!

Good news all - here's the info & Fringe Events List I just received!!! I hope I've got it all down correctly (forgive me if I haven't), the formatting I got was a bit wild! The dancing stuff at the end looks like it might be a bit mixed up so if anyone knows the definitive info please post it!!

Under the bridge we have a Ceilidh at 5.00pm on Sat and later at 5.30 Have a go Morris on Saturday.

This Festival really needs our support so don't forget to get your tickets for all the wonderful concerts that have been programmed, just take a look on the festival website at the Artists who have been booked!!

Don't forget the MudCat will be down while Max is moving (Good Luck Max), so make a note now of the fringe events & safe journeys if I don't get to post again before we set off!

Thanks for that, HK...so I guess those sessions are the ones referred to as "folk clubs" on the website. Should definitely get to one or two, anyway- grateful for the info.

Noreen, Sal seems to be having trouble with 'Search'. As I explained to her in a PM, I always use the 'Old Adv forum Search' from the Quicklinks dropdown at the top. Having put 'Upton' into it, I get all the threads, so I don't know why Sal's still having a problem. Does it work for ther Catters?
