Subject: Lyr Req: Goodbye to the sea From: Dennis the Elder Date: 27 Apr 08 - 02:28 PM This was sung at a folk club in Yorkshire, not sure who by, but it sounded good. Maybe a song performed at some time by Derek Gifford, by himself or His Worship and the Pig. I believe it refers to Cornish fishermen. Can you help please Dennis |

Its a great song, There's a lump in my throat Cos I'm burning my boat And I'm saying goodbye to the sea |
