Ragamuffin Radio puts out it Sunday In The Shires on line every two weeks or so and it is simply wonderful! Full of great music and its presenters are both so enthusiastic for blues,folk ,alternative country and all forms of roots music.They often have programme themes and the latest programme has sections devoted to Bessie Smith and Dylan Thomas plus a superb interview with Tyronne Sullivan the leader of the Tower Colliery Workers Cooperative in South Wales.Superb stuff...and pleasantly surreal!I never knew that sunday in the shires could be so good.Try it on playback.
