And nobody mentioned Leon Rosselson; in my opinion the best songwriter ever. All his songs are great (Stand up for Judas, They're going to build a Motorway, Invisible breakfast blues, Don't get married girs, just to mention the few that are actually in my mind.

Of course there are many others having one or two or even a handful of great songs like Eric Bogle, Si Kahn, Utah Phillips, Colm Sands, Alan Taylor.

Mostly, I like singers because they sing songs that I like, and I like songwriters because they write songs that I like.

Kendall's got it ... When he did "ashes on the sea" by Utah ... nails me in the heart. When Bruce Murdoch sings "fool like me" or Bankley meister does his "no Jambalaya in Jam ilia" and the list goes on ..

When art thieme does Billy Venero, Frank Hamilton doing his "blue mountain version. When Jerry does handful of songs ...

nail me in the heart guys ...

and my list can go on all night ..
