Subject: RE: Folk on the Pier 2008 From: GUEST,No Fixed Abode Date: 12 May 08 - 12:35 PM We were performing at the festival and what a great time we had. This was our third year there and the weather was the best we have known, as Scott the organiser said what a way to celebrate the festivals 10th anniversary. Even got to see Show of Hands and as usual meet lots of nice people, seemed to be a lot from Derbyshire there this year, we felt at home! Una and Tony |

Subject: RE: Folk on the Pier 2008 From: Fran Date: 12 May 08 - 01:11 PM I got my CD, a grat mix of artists. I put this on the beeb board but it is probably off being moderated somewhere. I had a great time The Lifeboat fundraising Concert was brilliant, I saw you for the first time Tom on Friday in the Anglia Court. Great songs very clever, I loved the Branscombe Bay one, I am taking my own bike round the TT course in July. The rest of the Festival was superb to, highlights were The Spikedrivers and Lark rise and a stonking set from Tanglefoot, and of course the best ever F on the P weather of all the times I have been. Due to unfortunate circumstances I missed Truckstop Honeymoon, please someone who went tell us how Mike and Katie were and did they go down ok?. |
