Glad to hear it Hamish. I thought I saw Matthew smile at one point, must be a trick of the light. I have just thought I won't do August cos it will be Towersey that weekend. So just July and September. Great to see you when ever you can get down here. TTFN.

Glad it was a susccess - which it must have been if Matthew's up for hosting monthly versions through the summer. I'll definitely come to any and all bits that I can. Howver I was down in Bude - which was (also) great.

~8^)

Oh forgot, the Rose and Crown was great, Christine was the main act, so that was no surprise, she sung with Breezie did some on her own then sung some with Steve Last. I played with Breezie and Chris Fleggy and many other options. Best guest of the night was Harry. Woof woof. See you all at Winkwell.

Hello I did try at Devizes, the only trouble was it's on the same time as Chippenham which is about 30 mins drive from them. Never mind never mind. Whittlesford to night and Breezie's on Sunday, with Christine at The Rose and Crown. Goodie goodie.

Mr Red will be cosy & snug in his "Coupe Tup" at Chippenham.

But that swing bridge appears to have swung both ways, is it hung to the left or right?

The pub has lots of character Lindsay. I went for a walk along the towpath last time I went to a session there. (Before the singing started, I hasten to add).

The Narnia theme seems to have taken roots. Martin had a beard on Tuesday - I think he is aiming for an Aslan-look-a-like.

Hi Unicorn Man & Mr Red

Blimey - it's just like being in Narnia

I must get a grander name

I can confirm the pub is indeed cosy - nestling on the banks of the mighty Grand Union Canal, next to the ultimate Swing Bridge

Photo Here

Sup your ale, relax in your hammock and watch the barges rumble past, carrying spices & cold tea up to Birmingham
