I have one more problem that I hope 6 degrees of seperation between us all can solve.

My second cousin Gene Hackman has retired this month and I would like to tell him about his childhood friend, my father.

The problem is conccact info seems to be selling for $200.

I have never contacted my cousin nor would he know me.

I am concerned that time is now short.

I think the Perry Como version was based on an older song sung at camps and such. Here is one version.

It is an old Camp Song
I don't think it has 50 verses
prolly not alaska or hawaii

although "I'll Ask Ya" and "How are ya"
might fit in there...

Oh, we have lots and lots of versions posted. I've tried to crosslink all the threads we have on this song up top. I think this thread (click) has the most versions. The thread goes back to 1996, when Mudcat started.
