He's away for a week TB, but I will point this out to him when he returns.
Guess who's running the Wednesday night session on his own this week?

'Twas good to hear Dave Goulder again at the final concert of "The Carrying Stream" festival in Edinburgh last night. I tried a few times to go and say hello to Dave, but he was ayeways busy wi the adoring fans, so if he's reading this: thanks again Dave for a great night!

Sorry we missed you all after dinner, we thought we would have a cat nap but just fell asleep, think we totally relaxed and it took the better of us, we slept right through till next morning. We also left early so that we could have a relaxing run home. We did look out for you all to say bye but no one was about.

Shelagh and Richard.

Fantastic. The people, the hotel (the FOOD!!!),the music, the place... The only downside was missing those who couldn't join us.

I shall have to post up some of the photos.

Thank you John, for organising that (and for putting me up on the Thursday). I'm definitely up for next year!

Now home and knackered. I'm going to follow Megan's example soon... *G*

Drumshanty and I had a great time too, so thanks to John and all the hotel staff for making it happen so smoothly, and to all the fellow Catters for the music and craic. Sorry we left without saying our goodbyes to those staying outwith the hotel, but with the clocks changing and the foul weather, we thought it best to get on the roads after breakfast: and I knew that if we stayed for the next afternoon session we just wouldn't want to leave!
Apart from the meteorology, it was a beautiful run with all hte autumn colours, and we spent an hour-and-a ahlf in Pitlochry at the "Perthshire Amber" festival's afternoon open stage.
Photos to follow, especially the Cassley Falls - You were right Penny, much better than the much more visited Shin Falls!

Well we had a wonderful time,we had the added bonus of Dave Goulder and Jim Bainbridge, so we were royally entertained.
It would have been even better if you had been there Skarpi, but remember next year.
16th/17th/18th of October.

I hope you're all having a great time. We just spent the week in Dornoch and managed to get on the only ferry coming back to Orkney today. Shame all the others were cancelled. Hope the weather doesn't cause too much bother for you all.

Hi anyone who knows me.

Well the first night went superbly. I am home feeling slightly the worse for wear, for a shower and lunch. After that I go back to the fray.
We were about 15 last night. 2 are stuck on Orkney because the ferries have been cancelled due to gales. They may yet make it. We also expect more tonight, including ANOTHER button box player ;)
DRINK!!!!
