A musical score for THE NEXT STEP, with words and music by Jack Campbell, appears in a book called 50 All Time Gospel Quartet Favorites, compiled and arranged by Harold Lane (Grand Rapids, Mich. : Diadem, ©1973). A couple of libraries hold copies.

It's the only score I was able to find with WorldCat.org.
