Actually Bob Zentz will be doing several concerts and special events before and after the Mystic Sea Music Festival, June 13-15. The one I'm involved with will be happening Sunday, June 22, 7:30 pm, at the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath, Maine. Alison Freeman and myself will be doing an opening set, followed by a break and then Bob will do another set. Admission is $10 for members, $12 for non-members, children 7-17 half price, and younger children free. For reservation and more information call 207-443-1316X333.

Bob will also be doing a concert at the Camden Public Library on Tuesday, June 17, and a house concert in York, Maine, following the monthly shanty/forebitter session at the Press Room, Portsmouth, NH; directions and details will be available at the Press Room.

I plan to be at the Press Room and hope to make the Sunday concert in Bath. Jacqui and Kendall are also definite maybes for Bath.

I thought Bob was also doing a spot in a house concert just over the border in Maine after the Press Room shanty sing finished up. That would be the one for me. I didn't quite get enough of Bob at Mystic & could do with a second dose?

Yes, Zentz will also be doing a house concert in York, Maine, about 7 miles from the Press Room, following the shanty session which ends at 7:30 pm, assuming there is a critical mass of people. Carol, who is hosting the house concert is a member of Roll & Go and is prepared to order a set of pizzas, but we do need firm reservations.

I'll have directions with me at the Press Room and we can also caravan there.

Probably the cover charge for the house concert on Saturday will be $10.

Oh please say hello to Bob for me. I haven't seen him in years, not since we did that amazing tour of Finland about 15 years ago. We were on the road for 10 days and it never got dark. We partied the whole time!
