Subject: Tech: Transposition sfwe/app/website From: Vixen Date: 11 Jun 08 - 11:55 AM D'Cats-- I'm seeking a free/share-ware app or website that accepts an abc-format file, asks you for the key you want to transpose to, and then returns a printable file in standard notation in the requested key. I last used this thing over a year ago, and all I can remember is that when it asked for the key to transpose to, it was NOT by note (e.g. from: D to: F) it asked for the relative interval (e.g. from: D to: minor 3rd UP). It was a terrific thing indeed. Anyway, I couldn't find a link to it on the abc page or JC's Tune Finder; I can't remember if it was something I downloaded and then inadvertently deleted/uninstalled. I thought I learned of it here, but an advanced search of the Forum for "transpose" and/or "software" and/or "application" and/or website" came up empty. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance! V |
