From: Tattie Bogle Date: 27 Sep 21 - 07:11 AM As a postscript to that Burns Night in 2019, where we played the 4 tunes, one of our audience, who comes from Glasgow (or maybe Paisley??) stated very firmly that "the original tune" was best - by which he meant the Hume tune: he just wouldn't have it that that wasn't the original!! |
