Subject: music in Scotland next week From: GUEST,Andy Date: 18 Jun 08 - 01:03 PM We'll be driving around Scotland for about ten days starting next week, and I would be very interested in finding some traditional music. We'll be in Aberdeenshire for a few days where she has family connections, but we'll also visit several other areas. I play fiddle and we both sing. Any suggestions? Thanks. Andy |

Subject: RE: music in Scotland next week From: GUEST,Jack Campin (on a cookieless machine) Date: 22 Jun 08 - 08:44 AM The Lemon Tree in Aberdeen has reopened, might be worth checking what they've got on. Sandy Bell's Sunday afternoon 4-8pm (mainly Scottish stuff) is the main session I go to. Its other Scottish session is Wednesday night, the rest are Irish. I've been at the Antiquary (St Stephens St, Stockbridge) on Thursday nights lately (9pm-12.30am, also mainly Scottish). There is a Scottish session on Wednesday night at the Tass. Glenfarg FC (Perthshire) might be on your route. |
