For the enlightenment of all folkies in Sheffield and surrounding area. Kiveton Park Folk Club will have the popular a-capella trio Craig;Morgan;Robson as guests, next Tuesday 24th June. Experienced and respected soloists, Moira, Sarah and Carolyn have been performing together for around 5 years and have received acclaim from many sources at home and abroad. Brilliant harmonies woven into songs from the English and Scottish traditions and beyond will make this an evening not to be missed. There'll be plenty of chances to get yer gob around a few refrains too! Nice club, cheap bar, friendly folks, free grub and Craig;Morgan;Robson also. Can't be bad. Get yerself a basin-full next Tuesday evening!!All welcome.

I am so envious at the moment. There are a lot of really good class acts appearing in the UK at the moment - I wish I could transport over for the evening to hear each one of them.

Go see these ladies if you can - they really are terrific.

Or, if you happen to be in the Scottish Borders, Melrose, King's Arms in the Rolling Hills Folk Club on Friday night 27th June you will then be treated to an evening with CMR. Can't wait.

Thanks for these lovely comments - and I'll just quietly mention that on Wednesday 25th we'll be at Cottingham Live, and Thursday 26th at the Star in Glasgow, where I think Moira's family is planning on turning up en masse!
