There was a blue clicky thing that I followed like Reynadine and got lost and did not mark but it led me to a magazine which listed events allowver England. We will be in Bath/Salisbury area in latish June and I seem to remember two possible events in 6-25 in Glastonbury and in Glos. I think these are reasonable but I cant find the blue clicky thing and am close to computer illiterate (but my computer doesn't keep going down like some folks I could mention*grin*). So any help in re discovering the blue clicky thig or discovering things to do places to go Well only bwe there a week then back to ireland Thanks-Lorraine

Lorraine, the most comprehensive list of festivals and such in England that I've come across is from the magazine Folk Roots. Their website address is http:/www.froots.demon.co.uk/ if you click on the words 'festivals listing' or something similar, on their homepage, there's a list in date order of all sorts of stuff, including Glastonbury Festival. Glastonbury's a big festival, thousands and thousands of people, a lot of the others listed are much, much, smaller, which is what I happen to prefer, it depends what you want. There are links or telephone numbers for each event.

The Tourist Information Board's site might also have something of interest. I had a bit of look through, they mention traditional events such as well dressing, also music and all sorts of different things.
That was after I'd finished looking through a Gloucester area website wondering why I couldn't recognise any of the names, then realised it was Gloucester, Massachusetts.
That's at http:/www.travelengland.org.uk/ (the english one not the american one)
I've never been to Salisbury, Bath's a lovely place, pretty, interesting and clean. I hope you find something that you enjoy, and that the weather's kind. Have a good trip, Liz

If you are feeling brave enough, you can probably find the address of the site you visited providing a) you are using Internet Explorer and b) you have the patience of Job...
If you click on "view" "internet options" under the "General" tab the second item should read "Temporary Internet Files".. click on the "settings" button and then "view files".. be prepared for a long search as this is a list of every page and file you have accessed on the net.. (I suggest you do this offline).. It's something of a long shot, but if you arrange them by date you might see something that jogs your memory..
Cheers
Mick

Depending on how many days worth of History files you have, under C: drive and then the Windows folder (if you use Windows) there is a folder marked History, which will list recently visited sites on a given day...That may help find it again...and narrow the search.

Mary
