It hangs on that A chord for the first 3 lines and then changes briefly to a G in the last line of the verse or chorus before going back to A. I believe my husband uses a modal tuning on the banjo/ I've only heard it by Ginny Hawker and am now going to look for Estil Ball's version. Did he write it? Powerful song... |
