My dear friends,

On Sunday, June 22, some evil people had stolen an aluminum briefcase containing many of Michael Copeland's original whistle prototypes as well as many "opus 1" whistles and flutes. Michael was at a yard sale when he turned his back on the case for a moment and they were gone. Any help to recover Michael's instruments would be appreciated. The intrinsic value of these instruments is small compared to the sentimental and technical significance of the contents of this case.
