What inspired that? I must say I found it more involving than most goodies against the baddies folk ballads.

amazing sound - sounded like the guitar was sneezing, or at least emptying its nostrils!

Thanks WLD. Its based on a true event about the only meeting of two of greatest philosophers of the last century. A book was written about it a few years ago, so I thought it deserved a song

There are a few videos of my checkered exploits bouncing around but the latest addition to YT is my current fav, "These Old Shoes". I entered this song in a contest to win a chance to play at the Newport Folk Festival this year. It was voted the number one song of over 400 entries in the competition's monthly contest last April but sadly, that award wasn't enough to convince the festival folks to include me as one of those chose to play the event in early August this year.

A new version of Wendys nearly famous The Visitor with added Congas (by Joolz Cavell) and sound effects provided by our 7 year old son on the Thunderstick.... it's quite fun! This is 3/4 of our new band Blind Summat!, unfortunately the fiddler is missing!

We like to think of Blind Summat! as the "Antedote to Miserable Folk".

ShoreGrass has 4 videos up on youtube, taken by a member of the audience at a concert this year. She gave me a CD with clips of several, but most are not complete. Here's one of ShoreGrass doing a song I wrote called Against the Tide.
