I've never heard of lyrics for these. How do you know there are some? Have you heard them?
I hope someone turns them up.
Ray

I've been playing "Cherokee Shuffle" for years but I've never heard of any lyrics.

I have heard a song Cherokee Maid sung to this tune with slight variations. I personally don't like it. I am sure the lyrics are from far more recent times and detract from a good tune.

Stan Rogers used the tune for his "Watching the Apples Grow." Pretty darn close, anyway.
