for playing tunes in ABC format...(I can't imagine why Vista would refuse to use the standard ones.)

Do you have one you used before Vista that no longer works?

You could try ABC Navigator HERE which has a XP/Vista interface rather than the earlier stuff which is more MS-DOS based which may cause problems on Vista. Mind you I stayed with XP to get round these sort of problems!

I'm using ABC Navigator and it works well.
