Once again Whitby is almost upon us & once again we can't make it...that's the bad news... the good news for someone, is that our cottage is available... it's STILL not quite finished (will it ever be?) but nothing major... we've been held up in advertising it because we were unsure if some work we were having done would be finished...this weekend it will be!

If anyone knows anyone who isn't fixed up yet let me know... the cottage is quite central... (very near the First in Last out) and will easily sleep 6.

Not for me (I only live down the road) but I have a friend who wants to spend a few days at Whitby.
If no-one takes it (festival comes first)let me know.

Maggie and I are fixed for Whitby accommodation, but we've stayed with Janet on previous occasions and the place is lovely, well recommended, centrally located, all mod cons (look I could've been an Estate Agent but I've got scruples).

Blach Hawk... we would obviously prefer it to be used by folkies during folk week... if your friend wants to use it any other time let me know... let me have an email address & I could send photos... also to anyone interested.

Well it would seem everyone is fixed up.... we are away from Tuesday onwards & won't be able to pursue this so it looks like there will be an empty little house for the whole of Folk week...

I've still not sorted anything and am going away today... I should be able to access the internet once or twice while I'm away and will follow up messages.. so if anyone hears of someone with last minute accomodation problems P.M. me with a telephone number...we would much prefer the place to be used... even if it's only for a few days... if someone could refresh this thread I'd appreciate that ta.

sorry if you haven't had replies...i'm on holiday away from my computer & sending this thanks to a fellow kind holidaymaker who let me use their laptop... I will contact everyone when I get home but was especially keen for the house to be available for folk week... it still is... if you want details pm me with an email address & I'll send photos etc when I get home... on thursday.
