Not that I know of - you may try the Blues bar on Montpelier Parade.

Sadly no dice there Rockhen - they've got Jed's Blues Band playing there every Sat I believe.

You are advised to phone before travelling. And I've only been to one or two as I'm usually out with the band weekends, so no guarantees!

Harogate also has a fiddle-and-accordian club but I've not details...

Well Lady Nancy, a commendable effort - and it looks like a good long list of stuff to choose from, but after taking a closer look it seems you pasted all the Sunday stuff in there. So - let's eliminate any confusion etc and we're left with only these entries for song/music for a Saturday:-

Millfolk (monthly concerts - last Sat in month, and not during summer anyway) - so no good this week.

White Hart Inn Mickleby, N. Yorks 01947 893589 - yes, it runs each week, but that's a MINIMUM 2-hour trip from Harrogate each way!

Wakefield Labour Club (Open Mic, last in month) 01924 215626 - no longer runs.

Buffet Bar Stalybridge Station (singers & musicians) 01457 833897 - again, a min 2 hour trip from Harrogate, going west!

Foster's Arms, Barnoldswick (Singers & Musicians but mostly Musicians I recall, 1st in month) 01282 852898 - maybe, but haven't been for a couple of years (pub closed for renovation around that time). Around an hour from Harrogate each way.

Hey thanks folks, anyway! We had a lovely time and a really nice meal last night so we enjoyed ourselves in spite of no music! I really appreciate the time given by those who sent info, although I didn't see the last couple of postings til I got back.
My accordion survived being left at home, this time :-)
