The Bridge Folk Club in Newcastle (UK) is celebrating 50 years of folk music in Newcastle on November 17th 2008 with a big party. Who remembers those early days?

I just happened to be visiting my Auntie ten years ago, just happened to lunch at the bridge, just happened to notice the flyer for the 40th party, stayed an extra night and went. If the 50th is half as good it will still be great. We took my Aunt who was in her 70's (and is still dancing) for a great night. As it happened I was the only one to film anything, I sent a video off which should be worth checking. Maggie used to go to the Marsden club in the 60's so there were good memories for her. We'll have to give it a miss this time so check your video and have a fantastic night.
Wassail
Bill
