I just stumbled upon this, and thought some of you might be interested. There's a DVD available with performances from the 1981 and 1983 Old Songs Festivals. It's $18 (with free shipping.) and is available at the link below (oldsongs.org)

There's a 6 minute sample on the Old Songs home page. (For some reason I don't see it on the actual Festival page.) I really enjoyed watching the sample, and went ahead and ordered the DVD – can't wait to see the whole thing! Take a look:

That is just terrific!! Even has Utah Philips on there. Thanks for posting this!! Wonder how many Mudcatters were at either of those.

I only started going in 1992, so I envy those of you who went even earlier. Looks like some amazing performances from the DVD sample.

Thanks for the info!! I was on the bill at one o' those fests in the 1980s, but cannot recall which.
