On Monday, August 10, 2008, I will be on the air and on the web broadcasting my favorite show of the year. I just got back from the Appalachian String Band festival in Clifftop, West Virginia. From 10:00 a.m. to noon, California time, I will be playing selections from old time CDs newly released by great musicians at the festival. There will be selections by Ken Waldman (the alaskan fiddling poet), Rachel Eddy, Jane Rothfield, The Old Time Liberation Front, The Red Mountain White Trash, and The Original Rockridge Brothers (a group from Sweden that plays American old time music). I'll also throw in some other stuff as well. Hope some of you can listen in.

Guess that's Monday 11th not 10th. I'll have a try - here in the UK that's probably about 6pm onwards - 8 hours different sounds about right.

Hmm using live365 and there's nothing happening. It says no playlist available. Maybe technology has beaten me.

nickp: on my computer it said "playlist not available" too but after waiting a minute or two the radio stream kicked in.Hopefully yours will work too.

If you have a popup blocker, it can be a problem. The work-around is to hold down the control key while clicking on the icon. Sorry it didn't work for you, Nick.

Thanks for the tip Al. I had allowed popups (XP) but maybe there were others that didn't prompt me. Tried Oldtime Music Radio afterwards and it worked OK. Guess I'll blame Mr Gates - even if it wasn't his fault!

Hey - you wouldn't have picked up my new cd "Ragged But Right' - Down Harmony Road? - Old time songs. I was at Clifftop & played banjo with Uncle Henry's Favorites - (4th place in contest)
