A friend of mine lost his tech guy for a gig in Edenburgh Scotland this Friday. He needs top notch tech guy, as his company is a top notch act, plays Wolftrap, Lincoln Center, reviewed every year in the New York Times. Tech must have great resumee. At this time of year (the middle of the Edinburgh Festival) you'll have to take whoever you can get and pay whatever they ask.

Sounds to me like you've got unreasonable expectations. The Edinburgh Festival is a *much* more competitive environment than you're used to.

Johnny Ramsay at EFX is one of the best he has a number of rigs and may be able to help as I say though he's one of the best so he could be booked.
