Venues near Uxbridge UK, Open in August

Can anyone tell me what music venues are available within, say 10 - 15 miles of Uxbridge, Middlesex in the week 17th - 23rd August.

Following the death, last month, of my mother, I have to spend that week looking after my father while my brother, who usually does this, takes a much needed break.

Knowing my dad, I shall need somewhere to get away to in the evenings, for the sake of my sanity.

All suggestions welcome (not patricide, I've already considered and discarded that).

What sort of music venues did you have in mind?
- folk clubs?
- English sessions?
- Irish sessions?
- Concerts?

10-15 miles from Uxbridge covers a wide area so it would help to narrow it down a bit!

Acoustic music sessions, leaning toward folk, with oportunity to both sing and play.

Try This one (blue clicky making failed me...)- they are itinerant so you will need a map but sounds like it's what you are looking for. Also references other local clubs on their site.
