The Bradford on Avon English music session, which has been happening twice a month for the last few years, meets for the last time tonight at its present home, The George in Woolley Street.

From the 8th September we shall be at our new home, the Beehive, near the canal on the Trowbridge Road, a nice pub with good beer and no piped music or fruit machines to contend with. After that we will continue on our usual schedule of second and fourth Mondays from 8.30 pm.

Cheers,

Chris

I must try and get to that session one day !! Did I speak to you the other day in Sidmouth ??----I mentioned my friend, Lt.Cmdr. Christine Poulter, who lives at Baileys Barn ?? Anyway, I will let her know !!!Then, hopefully, Wild Flying Dove and I can go to visit her, and we could all come along to the Beehive !!
Cheers,   Roger...

Dick: Thank you.

L in C: 'fraid I don't know Jo W. Our melodeon players are Nick, Sally, Chris and Hilary. Concertinas are also well catered for, since we have two anglo players, 3 English players and a duet player amongst our regulars. Squeezebox heaven!

Roger: I don't believe we spoke, leastways I'm sure I would recall a name like Lt.Cmdr. Christine Poulter! Hope to see you at the Beehive anyway.

Cheers,

Chris

Oh, that'll be the Widcombe Wobblers, then. I may know her, then, at least her face, because we've taken part in various Wobblers sessions over the years.

Cheers,

Chris

Refreshing, since it's only a few days to the first session at our new home. As it happens it is also our 4th birthday as a session, so as in previous years we'll bring along some cake!
