Next year, our trio 'Davies-Brenchley-Davies' will be visiting the USA again, from about late September to early October. We are seeking about 6 gigs and have 2 possibly 3 in the book already. So we are talking about the area of Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia and are looking for folk societies, house concerts or festivals, etc. We have a website at
http://www.myspace.com/daviesbrenchleydavies so you can hear what we sound like, We do basically Brit and US traditional, with some Breton, Irish and Scottish, and can also do workshops on many aspects of English folk song/music hall/gypsy songs/songs collected by Percy Grainger etc.

We have been in contact with a lot of the 'usual suspects' and are awaiting replies but any other suggestions or offers would be welcome.

Many thanks

Tradsinger

We had Davies Brenchely Davies at Richmond Folk Music and many said it was the best concert of the year. They were great! A nice varied repertoire, wonderful stage presence, and the audience loved them. Highly recommended.

Our tour is taking vague shape, namely Pennsylvania in mid-September 2009, Richmond VA towards the end of September and possibly the FSGW getaway in Maryland in early October. What we are after are some gigs to fill in the gaps, around the PA, NY, DE, MD and VA areas. Any suggestions would be welcome, house concerts, coffee bars, pubs, Folk Societies, Celtic groups etc. Many thanks for any help. Check out our MySpace site. Forgot to mention that we do quite a lot of Welsh songs and tunes as well.

Tradsinger, perhaps if you gave some sort of contact e-mail address, or whatever it might help.
