Dear All,

There is a rare opportunity to hear Dick Frost - High Wycombe's highly respected tradition singer, on Monday 18th August - as part of a feature night at Tudor Folk Club, Chesham.

Dick has been singing all his life and is now in his late 60s. I believe he has been the subject of past Mudcat threads. Although he still sings regularly at Marlow Bottom Folk and Acoustic Club he is rarely seen elsewhere nowadays.

Karen

Yes, indeed a treasure, he usually puts in an appearance for a lunchtime at Towersey each year too. A fine singer with a splendid repetoire of songs, and I am privelaged to say a friend of many years, I was lucky enough to find a copy of his double CD "Live at High Wycombe" and it has all his sparkle and wit in it too

We've booked him several times over the years at Maidenhead FC, well worth the money. If you get a chance get along to Tudor, Dick's not only a cracking singer with a great repertoire but a huge character to boot - not to be missed!

Tony

Wish I could get along to see Dick at Chesham, but alas no chance on Monday. I know he'll give an excellent evening, enjoy!

I'll be in Whitby, so won't have to make an invidious choice between my local club and Tudor....

Dick Frost highly recommended.

Kitty
