Subject: Oh the President Bush (Hangman) From: Dave the Gnome Date: 18 Aug 08 - 02:46 PM One of our irregular attndees at the folk club did his own self penned parody of the Hangman or Gallows tree or whatever the Prickly Bush song is called, but it was "Oh, the President Bush, he grieves my heart full sore. And if ever we get rid of that Bush we'll vote for him no more" Of course he didn't vote for him in the first place, being English and all that, but I liked the principle. The people coming over the style were war, famine, plague and death btw:-) Can't remember much else but has anyone else come up with it? I'd be very surprised if not. Cheers Dave |
