Just in case anyone doesn't know this is a weekend of old time American music at Sewerby Hall near Bridlington UK starting 29th August. Camping available for tents and vans. Organised by Oombanjo on behalf of FOAOTMAD (Friends Of American Old Time Music And Dance).

In case anyone dosn't know, this is a FREE camp. Drive through the car park of the Ship, take a left along the tarmac track followed by the "land train" till you get to the seaward entrance to the Sewerby Hall grounds. You'll see the tents/vans in the wood behind the bowling Green. Get out your banjo/fiddle/guitar/bass/autoharp/lap dulcimer/tap shoes and have FUN.
Unfortunately I have a gig at Didmarton Bluegrass fest, or I'd definitely be there.
Cheers
Ray

We had a relaxed fun weekend. Weather was nice. Got down to beach with the ducklings. Played some nice tunes.
Thanks to Oombanjo for organising it.
Quack!

Sorry that I didn't see this sooner Mrs Duck. /Jane, thanks to all who came. It was one of the most laid back and enjoyable weekends I have been to. The weather held out for us and I got my feet burnt playing in the courtyard as there was a cockup, the Orangey was double booked, however this gave us the opportunity to play outside. The beer in the pub lasted through; Charley the landlord at the Ship said that he was on to his last barrel on the Sunday afternoon when I called to say thanks. The park was full of visitors, many who had phoned through to make sure that we were there, many of who passed on their thanks. So thanks again and I hope to see you all again next year over the Mayday weekend, Cheers Oom Banjo

Sorry I couldn't make it. The weather looked appalling at Harrogate. Assumed it would spread to the coast. I wuz obviously wrong, I often am.
