No, no (next time I'll start a new thread). We're still at Kennington Village Hall. But we do have a presence at Oxford Folk Festival - less of a move and more of the weekend trip ;-)

Kitty and Mr Red, thanks for your messages and see you soon!

Cheers,
Jane

Hello SPB-Cooperator and my apologies for a somewhat tardy reply. Did Gordon used to run the shop at C# House? I'd not heard that before.

Oxfolk is a series of ceilidhs, and this month's caller is Phil Bassindale who I understand has learnt quite a lot from Gordon.

Saturday 14th February 2009
The Watch
with caller Phil Bassindale and spot from Ducklington Morris
Kennington Village Hall, Kennington, Oxford, OX1 5PG
Doors 7.30pm for 8 till 11.30pm

Cheers,
Jane

What kind of club is Oxfolk?

Top tip - if you're coming and want to enjoy the lovely sprung floor to it's full extent, wear trainers or fairly grippy shoes.

Cheers,
Jane

Hello all,

Oxfolk, a monthly series of ceilidhs just outside Oxford, is moving to Kennington Village Hall (from it's old home at the Exeter Hall in Kidlington). We're particularly keen to make sure that everyone that wants to know.

We're kicking off the new season on Saturday 11th October, 7.30 for 8pm, with the cracking Woodpecker Band, the lovely Gordon Potts and the splendid Rockhopper Morris. We can also boast a lovely sprung floor and a real ale bar.

For more details, see http://www.oxfolk.org.uk

End of shameless plug

Cheers,
Jane
Publicity Officer, Oxfolk
