A hardy bunch are festival goers!!!

What a wonderful weekend. A tad moist, but a quality event nevertheless.

And of course the Church concerts were superb, culminating in a Festival finale with the stunning New Scorpion Band. Everyone without exception wanted this to go on and on and on.

What a pity such good things have to end.

But then there is next year! Bigger and better no doubt.

Good to meet up with Derek, Kitty, Nicola, Kimbers Men, Bad Pennies, Dan Plews, Four Hand Reel, and loads of friends. Loads more new friends now too.

Was that WET, or what ?? ! Still, the weather cleared nicely for a while on Sat. afternoon, and we got to watch "Spank the Planks" and other Appalachian sides, and go to the free concert in the Sandpit marquee ( Jez Lowe's "other half" was excellent !!). Karen & I sang/played at Derek and Kitty's Red Lion session, and I sat next to Grant Baynham in the Irish Session !(Inspirational !).It was lovely to meet up with old friends/musical colleagues from my past Dorset life, ie Jennet Lambert, Titch Roberts,Paul Jutkewicz, Barry & Monique Batten ,Roger from Portland, and others (well, I can't remember all the names, can I ?) Roll on next year (and some SUNSHINE !! ).
