It was a full house for Lynne and Pat who were on top form. Lovely singing, as ever, and very amusing. A great evening's entertainment. I took the opportunity to buy their three CDs. Interestingly, the recordings seem to strike a sadder note than when you see the girls live, which gives a slightly different perspective, but maybe that's just me. Anyway, great to listen to, live or on CD.

Owing to imminent loss of our current venue we have regretfully been forced to abandon all further gatherings for this year. Will Duke and Dan Quinn have been rescheduled for June next year. From mid-January 2009 we will be returning to the Rose and Crown, Tonbridge High Street , only a short walk down the hill from our more recent venue. The club will go on - see you there!
