I don't have an iPhone. I didn't know iPhones have an application called "Pocket Guitar" until I found examples on You Tube like this one:

You can retune the strings, I think, as I read in one of the comments.

Here is a comment from the first youtube of pocketguitar that I saw, the first one I became aware of, as I'm on the tradlessons list and it was emailed to me.

It will do chords, but its a bit awkward to hold the phone and get all the the fingers down. Since there is no physical feedback, its pretty challenging to play with any sort of accuracy even for single note lines."

Someone is going to make a strap or "holder" so hands are more free from holding the phone to play the strings... my prediction.
